[Up Vote] I don't use Google. I even try to use the term "web-search" rather than a product name. Even the "Weather" app is trying to get into my phone service settings with "Global Ad Block" is turned "off". I checked the phone settings, there is no such setting. Must be "Brave Browser" pissing off content hosts... I just close the connection and seek information else where.
When there is no other information source that isn't seeking to control me, I'll go back to reading a book, knowing people are being filled with propaganda and not knowledge.
I remember when everyone was anonymous online.. the media from all angles push to change things.. NOW they want you to verify who you are. while they broadcast stories about people being sued for saying things online.. I have had problems with facebook and youtube with regards to freedom of speech.. .. now youtube is permitting anti-immigrant talk.. in fact its all over the place now.. I didn't even have a cell phone 2 years ago, but the company I hired onto requires them.. complete with google app as we clock in/out using our phones.. Since the company reimburses for travel expenses , we needed an app download for that too.. well, for the 2nd app download I had to hand over my cell phone for 2 hours.. and I suspect that they are now spying my phone activity.. this company is into psyop.. gaslighting is their specialty.. so, for peace of mind I now have a 2nd phone.. 40 for phone and 35 per month.. x 2 now.. but I really do not want them knowing who or what I say.. music etc.. This company went to great lengths to try to make me think that I am inadequate.. as they moved me to a more demanding situation.. with no raise.. push push push. well I push back.. I am making bare minimum now imo.. many people say I make good money.. that just shows the sad state of affairs in the US today.. They have a tracking device on my phone I use for company stuff.. I can see myself going down the road on a map on it.. lol.. they had me take a company questionnaire when they moved me from the original neighborhood to this higher level one.. it was psychological in nature.. They also have us complete online tasks.. sposed education and policy stuff.. for example no weapons on person or even in vehicle while at work.. of course , being a modern man.. I lie.. just like I was talking to a cop. .lol
cop pulls me over for no seatbelt.. he approaches and it is on.. so he tries to get me to say I didn't have it on.. I get off with a warning after saying I had it on.. too many jerkoffs in America today.. this country creates them..
@SoloMan Zone: after 28 years self employment , It is obvious my managers want me to see myself as they say I am.. lol.. one of the things I have done in the past , after making good money on my own and paying off my house using tools I designed and built myself, ,I would look up past foremens.. and superintendents.. and I did nbetter than my bosses and my bosses bosses.. so why would I listen to tyhem. They are idiots..

I will tell them and if they really piss me off I take a 2 week vacation.. They have new vehicles with a car payment. plus apartment rent. lol.. I needed a car .I paid cash.. they even asked.. I said man I am not financing a car.. that is stupid.. ;)

When I worked in the cheaper neighborhood.. they acted like there was a problem between me and my fellow worker . I was like what are you talking about?. they did that so they could move me up without expecting more money.. they make people think that something is wrong and like it is them. .lol.. why do we work for such psos.?
They have gone so far as to undo my work. then send me back to fix what was perfect when I left.. totally counter productive.. but like you said, its about controil.. see how they like me not being there for 2 weeks.. ;)
