Biden walks out in middle of ceremony to honor veteran

Joe Biden has once again come under heavy criticism, this time after casually wandering off in the middle of a ceremony awarding the Medal of Honor to a Vietnam veteran. Immediately after fastening the medal round the neck of 80-year-old retired Army Capt. Larry Taylor, Biden gave him a half hearted salute and strolled out through the middle of the room. He even appeared to be acknowledging the crowd’s applause, mistakenly believing it was for him.

Veterans took to the internet to slam Biden for this, with one former Navy SEAL tweeting, ‘Pardon my French… But what a f—ing idiot. The continuous lack of respect Biden has for anyone is appalling. Hawaii, Service members, active shooter victims, the list goes on.’ Rep. Wesley Hunt, an Army veteran himself, commented, ‘At least he didn’t check his watch this time,’ referring to the time Biden stood looking bored and checking his watch as military coffins were returned to US soil.
