Biden has no luck in convincing Netherlands to join US chip-export ban against China

The US leader has reportedly failed to persuade Netherlands to comply with Washington's microchip sanctions against China while hosting the Dutch prime minister for talks about supposed challenges from China in the Indo-Pacific region. Washington aims to restrict microchips that, as it claims, could be used in the defense industry, a move that Beijing says violates economic norms.
