I haven't watched Christmas shows since I hit my teen year's. And I quit buying into the commercial aspect of Christmas not long after. My dad always taught us Christmas is about spending time with those you love. And that's how I celebrate it.

Oh god I just had flashback's of creepy aunt's trying to catch me under the mistletoe. If only they understood the meaning. Interesting video BTW.

Chrisy mas to me is to remeber all my family now gone. I have a tape of my Mym chatting to my NAN from 1961 - they had a small tape recorder each and would mail reel to reel mini tapes to each other. My Cousin found them and digitixed them for me and I't lovely to here her voice and even my Dad's few grunts as well at christmas. I have lot's of Photos and relic's of my childhood that come out at Christmas, so I'm NOT really alone I guess? My time is coming within the next few years and I doubt anyone will remember me or look ay photo's at christmas. My Wonderful Daughter was a god send when she was very young and a lovwely little girl who could make anyone laugh or smile. Haven't seen or heard from her in decades, she just lost interest when she was 14 and abandoned her Dad. I think her Mother finally poisoned her mind? so although I have a Granddaughter now about 16/17 years old I've never seen her. Being alone though is kind of a God send, because I cope well with being alone (Not lonely may I add), nope being alone has been a feature of MOST of my life and I just accept it.
