Yeah, that's actually dangerous; one, walking that close and two, over in that area. As we learned from Greenland, when the top layers melt like that becoming little streams or riverettes, the water continuously tunnels towards the land surface below and then spreads out like cutting a cube. Then, that cube of ice floats off into the ocean, bay, or gulf drifting away cooling the oceanic temperatures. Wildly dangerous situation it is... It baffled scientists, the climatogists, when it first happened... Trust the soyience guys...Lol!
