wow, thanks for posting this. i had no idea there were so many foods that could be powder. right now i'm ordering me some heavy whipped cream, that i will adjust the use of into creating some half and half.

i would rather save money on half and half and this seems like the best rout, because i normally go to the store and get 64 OZ half and half that last about 2 or 3 weeks, but what i ordered will last twice as long and all i need to do is mix with water and use 2 or 3 tbl spoons to mix to get the right consistency of half and half, but hopefully it will last much longer than the regular 64 OZ ones.

Why honey powder though? Honey can be stored just like that for more than 100 years.

that's true, however i think its because you can get more for your buck, because it's been condensed of all the moisture. it's kind of cool actually. i was thinking of getting some for my coffee, but i found brown sugar much cheaper.

@KEEPER: isn't condensing all the moisture a costlier process? I also think it's a waste of time to spend trying to preserve foods (in this case, honey) when they already have a reputation for shelf life. Anyways, I'm a fool cause I don't know much about prepping.

@Dadadamdam: it's only more costly when you do it yourself, but there are loads of company's out there who can do it on mass and produce enough that makes the process cheaper. and when it's fully automated, it will be much cheaper. i'm also kind of a noob in prepping as well, but i have found it a very useful skill, especially now that we went through these lockdowns that lasted much longer than they needed to last.
