Sometimes there's a very long lag between cause and effect. I think that's why some people have trouble connecting the dot's. Oh here's a saying for the pivot thing "no plan survives first contact with the enemy".

True that I've heard it as plans fail when they meet the enemy same thing different wording. Mines is Man plans and GOD laughs which is true to some extent as you can ask for God's help to change his original plan he has for you and change your life for better or for worse also we can plan as much as we want however we cannot prepare or predict things out of our control and freakishly unexpected as we don't know everything about this world and realm that's my opinion what you think any improvements.
