WTF? Really? Kids live in that neighborhood; personal pets are snacks for that tiger. Who the f$ck let them have a tiger in a residential neighborhood?

Wonder if the tiger was brought from California, by the nut that brought it. Just curious. Some people are just stupid.

It would have been very unfortunate it this animal was put down. Tigers are actually very handsome cats. Probably moreso than lions.
The Real person who ought to be put down is the "handler" or owner of this animal. Who the fuck brings this animal into the suburbs.
Charges definitely need to be brought up. Criminal and Civil.

It's a good thing that Sheriff showed some restraint. Most deputies would have shot that tiger and asked questions later. The guy that owns the cat should be brought up on charges for not being in control of the animal. I don't know if it's any more legal to own a wildcat in Texas than anywhere else (except for a licensed zoo), but my guess is probably not. They're not meant to be domesticated. There are *very rare* cases, like the psychologist couple in Russia, that have a relatively tame Puma, and a female cheetah, that they rescued from being put down at a couple of zoos in Russia. They are in a closely controlled environment, and they work with them on a daily basis, and of course they don't condone the 'average joe' to go out and just pick up their own wild cat. Search 'I_am_Puma' on Googtube for some interesting videos.
