Zimbabwe raises tobacco output despite US sanctions, offers exports to Russia

Zimbabwe has been seeking to strengthen its economic ties with Russia, including exports of fruit, coffee, tea and tobacco. Despite US sanctions and rising prices for fuel and fertilisers, Harare has shown economic resilience and growth. That has been especially the case with tobacco production, which accounts for a quarter of the country's export revenue.

The weakening Western nations are being aced out (more like they're acing themselves out) of the larger "world economy". Their sanctions no longer have the desired effect as in the past. Soon, they'll simply be ignored, while the rest of the world moves on from them... eventually with a different currency.
