West forces Africa to purchase expensive fertilizers to replace Russian supplies

Harvests in many parts of Africa are under threat as rising prices make fertilizers inaccessible to farmers. The West is pushing Africa to use more expensive, European-produced fertilizers, as anti-Russia sanctions make it difficult for Moscow to supply products to the continent.
