Well Rob I'm sure you don't like being Robbed by the government of your tax dollars to pay for mostly women's debt relief for their edumacations. Since they make up more that two thirds of those in debt for school they will benefit disproportionately when compared to men. They will cancel up to 20 thousand dollars for Pell Grant recipients and 10k for other borrowers. The program is going to cost $240 billion dollars over the next ten years. It's going to create more inflation because women will take the ten thousand or twenty thousand dollars in savings and spend it into the economy helping create more inflation. This is a wealth transference from men which make up the majority of savers to whamen that make up the majority of spenders. With more inflation the federal reserve will raise rates even further and inflation in general will devalue our savings. Also men tend to be more responsible paying back their school debts so not as many men will qualify for debt relief. The government is making itself clear. If men refuse to marry women and pay off their student loans then the government will ramp up the money printers and pay the banks back while devaluing the currency in your pocket. By printing more it creates inflation and that forces the federal reserve to raise interest rates and they recently said they will do whatever it takes to get inflation back down to 2%. Are they bluffing? I don't know. But if they raise interest rates to six or seven or eight percent what's going to happen to America's ability to pay back it's debt? What's going to happen to the economy if they create enough demand destruction to impoverish huge portions of the population? They will of course have to cut interest rates at that point. So I'm keeping money on the sidelines waiting to invest it in my favorite etfs and Bitcoin. This is the worst time ever cancel student debt. The unemployment rate is the lowest it's been in over a generation. If you can't get a job to help pay off your loans then there's something wrong with you. Women will also benefit more because the average whamen has 22k worth of debt vs the average man with 18.8k when they graduate on average. For some reason black women have 38k.
