This Crazy Drug Cures Depression, Anxiety and Addiction at the same Time - (Better than SSRIs?)

Society is collapsing under the weight of depression and mental illness.

The prescription rate of SSRI drugs for depression has risen 400% in the last 20 years yet suicide, anxiety and depression continue at record high numbers - especially in adolescents.

This video investigates the pharmacology of serotonergic systems and the link between brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF).

Clinical research at John Hopkins's University has shown an 80% success rate in relieving depression and an 80% cessation rate in long time smoking addicts. The key to lasting change is a mystical experience caused by high doses of psilocybin in the context of cognitive behavioral therapy.

Numerous studies have shown psychedelics to be a safe and highly effective way to relieve depression, anxiety and addition yet they are still widely banned as misinformation and myths about the drugs continue to circulate.

Who is behind this misinformation campaign, and what could they hope to gain by keeping psychedelics illegal and unused?

It's not a stretch to assume that pharma companies are lobbying to keep psychedelics illegal. They have already lost millions of dollars in revenue in states that legalized medical marijuana. Big pharma has a history of poisoning the country through opioids, falsifying research, promoting fraudulent prescriptions, concluding with the DEA to ban Kratom and colluding with the FDA to ban l-typtophan. It is not unlikely that they have played a hand in the banning psychedelic research.

We must act to decriminalize entheogen psychedelics and rebuild society.

Thanks for watching. This video took a long time to make. I hope you enjoy it!
