This sounds good to me at a high level. The only layer of defense or reprisal is bricking a key, which removes the author from your domain, then other peers are provided an option to accept a split branch for that author? What happens if an author is bricked from multiple domains? would there be multiple branches or would it search for an existing branch and recommend that?

If an author is removed or never joined a domain, how would an unknown author be discovered?

It sounds interesting though, just have a bunch of questions.
