he Matrix is a 1999 science fiction action film written and directed by the Wachowskis.[a] It stars Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, Hugo Weaving, and Joe Pantoliano and is the first installment in the Matrix franchise. It depicts a dystopian future in which humanity is unknowingly trapped inside a simulated reality, the Matrix, created by intelligent machines to distract humans while using their bodies as an energy source.[5] When computer programmer Thomas Anderson, under the hacker alias "Neo", uncovers the truth, he "is drawn into a rebellion against the machines" along with other people who have been freed from the Matrix.

Thanks for the movie.
Carrie Ann Moss in those leather pants... she was hot back in the day.
in the video game "The Path Of Neo" xbox where the scene of neo goes out side of the building from the window, they instead had him evade the agents within the office spaces, it was probably easier scene to make happen.
the game was fun though and i enjoyed the other views in the events from the movie.
the funniest part is when neo fights seriph that test before he gets to see the oracle for the first time, as they add an extended fight scene between the both of them and at one point they crash through an wall into an theater and break through the screen and continue their fight on the stage with this funny annoying guy in the audience talking about how fake this all looks lol.
just letting you know, that i added this movie to one of my playlists for movies and shows.

and it's at this moment 06:08 when agent smith thinks about removing all telephone booths and telephone's from existence. you would think an A.I. would be that smart.
or perhaps it's been too long that i was into the lore of this series and the agents don't have control of what could be found within their digital world.
but just think about it, all it took for them to get back was a phone that was tied to the grid system as a regular cell phone simply wouldn't work funny enough. we know the architect choose that specific year and society profile of advancement of technical development to run the matrix within, as any other time period would be too easy for the agents to catch them or too advanced for them to manipulate but also this is the time and setting where they found neo but then again the architect placed neo within this time of the matrix.
imagine the matrix being placed within the wild west, how would the ppl get back to their ship in the real world without a telephone? the agents wouldn't look the same for one thing and also they would still look the part of enforcing the law.
