Love watching the Great Central Railway run? We need you to help keep it moving!

You'll be enthralled by this 20 minute film from the talented volunteers of Quorn and Woodhouse station. See @QuornStation for more of their work. Inspired by the classic British Transport Films produced by Edgar Anstey, this film showcases many of the different areas of the heritage railway movement that people can get involved in.

It might look like the 1950s but everything you're watching was shot in the 21st Century on the award winning Great Central Railway in Leicestershire.

At Quorn and Woodhouse, which is celebrating 50 years of preservation in 2023, we are on the lookout for people who wish to join is as porters, clerks, tea room staff and as station restorers and maintainers. We accept people of all ages, backgrounds and genders who are keen in being part of the Quorn and Woodhouse station team. Perhaps we'll see you soon?
