Tech Layoffs Strike, Useless Bloat Most Affected!

HR is complete bullshit. Managers have had to hire recruiters to get around HR nonsense, because HR screens out competent people! HR disrespects people and wastes their time, and acts like their job is to prevent people getting hired rather than facilitate it. My last 9-5, I was told by the hiring manager that I was hired, I just had to go through HR's nonsense now to finalize it.
Recruiters typically cost a month of the hire's salary. The company pays out to the recruiting agency the same as the employee would be paid before taxes in one month. This is easy $10k, just for reading resumes and making phone calls.

I've never understood why the defense against tax cuts has always been "fewer police, fire and emergency!" The LAST things that should be cut are the first on the chopping block? Take out the sheer volume of monies for füüking single mothers and welfare queens. They always bitch about "single mothers hardest hit", but who's MAKING all these single mothers? Hint: it rhymes with "they are".

And I thought dotcomedy 1.0 was funny.
