Power outages, hell it also could of been a refrigerated semi trailer broke down or it sat on the yard too long. The loaders only check for damage and incorrect temperatures, so some of that food could have shown up rotten. I know it can happen because I hauled refrigerated freight years before all this shit started. I agree, stick to canned goods, and I'd include dehydrated or freeze dried also. That stuff can survive a trip in a dry van (non climate controlled box trailer), so it should be okay.

Indeed!! Dehydrated food is also great. I forgot to mention that in the video and Im glad you mentioned it here. I truly believe 2022 is going to be the year of caned foods. Food services will, without question, be taking a hit in some way.

@Eggy_Noggy: You're welcome, and I think a primary factor will be logistics and transportation failure. That industry has been a dumpster fire for decades.

@Pulsar 357: ya, Thats right.. Transportation failures have been a problem for an echo. The more global issues America involves itself in, the more logistics will be a problem. We are incapable of growing enough food to feed our own population.. so, getting into conflicts with other countries who are responsible for the assets to keeping your country fed is only going to make things worse. A starving population can lead to a very 'Animal Farm' type of ending.
