My first thought about that character dynamic; - this was introduced to re-enforce a gynocentric notion of "Fairy-Tale-Love" The scene seems to suggest that women are committed to eternal union. It tells the boys that women are living to be your eternal companion. Not true at all about the mocking in ep 1-2. Kevin Feige and director and writers all spoke,as did actors, on how they did ut in full seriousness as homage, even filmed it in same ways, and same acting as I Love Lucy and other shows of 50s and 60s, the intros of each episode were very original and quality stuff. Feige spoke with others how goal was to honor the different acting styles and methods of each decade. I saw it clearly. Very well done, I Love Lucy and other shows were exactly like that. No mocking in it.

And Vision is a synthezoid, he is not A.I., he is not a robot. His reactions are not algorythmic, no more than any human's are based on our neuron synapses that work in a predictable algorythm. Lastly, the whole poibt of show is to create the multiverse, which we now saw in ep 5 with Peter,Pietro, from X-men-Apocalypse film, of 1983 in that film, entering world of 1983 Wandavision...this continues with Doc Strange and different spiderman worlds in December, and March we see Wanda and Doc Strange continue multiversing. Thor 4 will have multiverse too. Amazing stuff. X-men Apocalypse had him find out Magneto was their father, so now he meets Wanda after. Brilliant!
