I dunno.....
I found one decent casual dose of magic mushrooms to be the same in terms of brain damage, as casual daily slightly stoned level of smoking of weed.
IN one documentary - at the end of the summer of love, the hippies had a formal funeral for the "great failure" of the free drugs and free love of that time. All the people turned up - with the free street food and all that - and by the time it was going into decline - there were many people who needed free food - they were drug fucked.
I am not against legitimate use of a variety of drugs - but for legitimate therapy.
But I draw upon my mentor Charles Slack, who was THE associate professor at UCLA Berkley - who was manufacturing LSD with Timothy Leary.
Timothy Leary ended up being a fucking space cadet - and Charles Slack became a drug fucked idiot.

I kind of miss him as he is some ways was a great mentor - like telling me, "Play hard to get" - we worked out. "Because if a women is just coming up to you looking for a fuck - if she doesn't get into your pants in the first 5 minutes, then she will leave. But if she is really interested in a relationship with you, she will stick around and really put in the effort to develop a relationship with you".
But the last time I saw him he had become such an arrogant prick, with his put down comments, he was truly insufferable. I also knew how to handle him so I put the responsibility for his crap back with him - which he didn't like.
And that was the last time I ever saw him.
