The Supreme Court ruled the moratorium unconstitutional (2021JUN?, 2021MAY?).
IF at present I were a landlord, I would either evict my tenants (with the help of some not-so-friendly friends), or sell my properties at firesale prices.
There is always a solution. Not always pleasant, but a solution nonetheless.
You are 100% correct, the lights will EVENTUALLY go out!
