Well, good for him for getting free from that stuff. I did it too, but without any religion, through connecting with the Divine Source that is within us and all around us. Demonic spirits do exist though, and they influence us to do all kinds of evil things to lower our vibrations, so that they can feed off our energy.

I disagree with him on how supposedly he only way to freedom is through his religious dogma. Having faith [in an interpretation of a book that has proven to be distorted heavily from its original form] is the only way to please God? That doesn't sound like a rational God who imbued us with the precious resource of a rational mind [and a strong gut feeling connected to your brain].

Nonetheless, it seems most people just don't have control over themselves to where their mind is master over their animal functions. I had to develop the control of myself when I was an early teenager, because I didn't like looking at porn out of habit or uncontrollable lust. So I focused on working out, stretching, doing martial arts, etc. I valued control of myself and had conservative/prudish attitudes towards sex ever since I was 14-15; it comes with being born intelligent and having innate class.

A person cannot purchase/buy morality, classiness, honorableness, desire for self-discipline and holding oneself to standards, etc. The quality of a person can be seen when they are in their teenage years. Everyone can be influenced by degenerate culture, but the person's underlying level of dignity and overall moral inclinations will come to the surface and be revealed.
