i love Halloween. i don't care what ppl say who don't like it.
but i remember a kids movie that talked about the origins of Halloween, it talked about ancient Egypt in how they used to put food out of their houses for the dead. not for animals, for the dead. it had something to do with the spirits roaming around during that time of year so it became a tradition to leave food for the dead, but then it transitioned into other countries as something kind of creepy and yet fun.

i think the movie i'm talking about is called, the Halloween tree. it's a classic nowadays. but it's pretty dated as it came out in the early 90s i think.
