Go Ahead's (North East) Electric Buses

Now those of you that know me on here, will know I hate Electric Car's or the concept of them. However when it comes to public transport it is a different story for me regarding EV Buses ()or Tramways) for that matter. This video report shows where TRUE EV use could work and apparently does? As a Kid I remeber riding what was called the Trolley Bus. This was an EV that took power directly from overhead cables. The NEW electric bus though possible limited is perfect for limited use on routes designed around ability. This is the way forward for EV's not the car or electric truck. There was discussion of rigging motorways with Trolley bus cables like the original buses and running trucks on them, but a stupid idea really I think? Why not just put transport like that back on the railwaqys and like before they fucked everything up you have smaller ICE trucks to distribute locally. I found this video sensible and thought prevoking. With ICE technology there is no need to get rid of the petrol engine. Put commerce on Electricity and you can charge and use from a central hub daily. This Charging point thing for a few rich and very stupid fools is NOT the way forward socially. I know the government will love all this a point on every street corner because it rakes in cash for them. This video is more about people as well as SERVICE. Now there's a word you hear rarely these day's "SERVICE"!
