Wow they look like the 90s live action TMNT costumes. Are the recreations or did they refurbish the suits.
ninja turtles, man they are soo old by today's standards. i mean it's cool that these are costumes, the look like the real deal.
@Carl Wassermann: damn dude. i don't collect, but it's cool to see these. i was always too poor to get the good toys, and when i was older and could afford it, i wasn't interested anymore lol. at one point i wanted to get some starwars action figures or stargate. but i never went through with making the purchase. video games were better.
@KEEPER: Toys & merchandize were the only way to make shows like this even economical. I too couldn't afford them back then. Mattel & Hasbro usually priced them beyond my savings.
@hqwebsite: one year I remember asking for a Power Ranger cuz I was into those at one point and my brother said okay I'll go buy you a Power Ranger I told him which one I wanted to save money he bought me the Pink Ranger, the fucking chick LOL I had to cut her tits off sand them and spray paint it black cuz I did not want to have a pink ranger lol. But I had a good imagination when I was a kid I didn't necessarily need the most amazing toys, when you bring home oddly shaped rocks and pretend their spaceships and you're a kid that doesn't need toys. Although I was jealous of other kids who had better toys though. I remember I had this watch that I bought from a dollar store that eventually broke, and then I pretended that was a spaceship. Yeah I was into spaceship stuff.
@KEEPER: I had plasticine back then. Also I learned origami. A piece of paper can be as big as universe to a child creative mind. Kids back then build their own toys.
@hqwebsite: ppl still create toys and then they sell them on stay for a fuck ton of money. And ppl actually pay whatever price there posted at. It's crazy.
@KEEPER: Kid these days just consumes. Creativity wasn't encouraged. Kids these days just show off the new toy from the commercial to another kid with a little older toys. Consumerism poisons child mind.
@hqwebsite: i typed in Etsy. and my autocorrect put stay. i fucking hate that! anyway, i mean i'm sure if their parents didn't spoil their kids, that they would use their imagination naturally. like believe it or not, but more than ever before jobs, have gone into the creative sector . like the example is youtube, all the shit on youtube is either informative or creative. i myself dabble in creativity when it comes to fan fiction of various movies tv shows or video games. i used to do what's called spray paint art. not graffiti, i didn't do that kind of spray paint lol. but legit art with spray paint. maybe one of these days i will upload some shit i have done.
@KEEPER: I'm looking forward to that.
