I merely put myself out there by being a good person, and by doing my best in general. I've rarely approached, and now never approach women. I leave it up to them to value who I prove myself to be, and if they fail to show sufficient, credible interest, then I won't beg. For me, friendship comes first, and I'm a monogamist. If they can't even muster a friendship, let alone pass beyond that, then I have no interest in them. I would also never use any services like Tinder, which lead to shallow, unreliable people. Last night I was speaking with a friend who said he has continually lowered his bar. He is not happier as a result, and just finished enduring the "worst week of [his] life, by a huge margin". I have steadily raised mine, and have avoided a great deal of trouble. Unfortunately, society is sick and twisted today, and is mostly unqualified for relationships. Humble non-human animals are far better. I'd rather have that honest, loyal connection, than sexual satisfaction from a soulless person who can (and almost certainly will) decide at any time to destroy my life, and possibly the lives of children. So quality over quantity, and quality or nothing.
