I don't use Tech, OK I have thisd PC. It came out of a dumpster, and I limit my use to twice a day other than say watching the odd movie on it. I'm actually scratch building a model as I'm listening to this. rather than addiction I prefer to "Practice" regular daily. as a Musician I play a lot and improve my playing, but it's not an addiction that I practice or play at least once a day. I may not play for a week if other stuff needs attention, but it doesn't cause me to go cold turkey!

I'm pretty sure if the power or the satellite's failed tomorrow a large section of the population would go insane without the tech? Believe it or not before Trains were invented most of a population would walk to wherever that needed to be, the rich may have a carriage? but most would have walked? Maybe if the tech collapsed people would become addicted to say talking to each other in person or walking to a friends house. but I'm sure they would find Addictive behaviors if they are that way inclined?

Since the arrival of the Cellphone then the Smartphone, I have had absolutely "NO" wish or need to have one? I wonder psychologically is my brain different to addiction. I don't and never have Smoked, done Drug's or Drank a lot either? I'm reasonably healthy for coming up to a youthful 66 years and I cant say I feel the need for anything addictive?

I guess in some way the programming of today possibly effects me some how, but I don't watch TV or read newspaper's or listen to the Lame Stream Media either. I'm not particularly Religious but doesn't the Bible say in the Book of Paul something like - "Be in this world, but not of it"? Could the very fact I've never fitted into any boxes in life that I don't seem to have this need for addictions?
