I think these are good, but the redundancy and fail safe features are what interest me.

Can it still fly on 4 motors - in each corner, instead of 8?

Does it have a fatal crash prevention parachute?

I mean I kind of doubt this - but can it fly like an autogyro - with no power to any motors?

Like this is not a DUMB question in the sense, that I don't think it can, but is it at least a survivable crash landing in it's current condition, with a power failure.

And does it have the facilities to drop the batteries out of the air frame, say down to 2 meters below on steel cables - with a rear facing vent?

So "if and when" they go "Nuk-Leer" the battery pack drops down and the huge blow torch functions as a low powered rocket for a few minutes, well below the air craft, while the air craft safely glides down under a parachute.

Are these batteries the sort that can go "Nuk-Leer" or are they the ones that do not catch fire?

Or does it turn into "The Flying Flambe" - the arial BBQ - turning everyone inside into Nagasaki cinders in 10 seconds and then flattened patties when it hits the ground?
